Island Records founder Chris Blackwell signed a $50m deal that gives Primary Wave an 80% share of Bob Marley’s share of two publishing catalogues, Bob Marley’s songbook and Blue Mountain Music.Blue Mountain also has rights to U2 songs, but those are excluded from the deal. – via NYTimes
