Apple Music teams with James Corden for scouting programme

Apple Music has teamed with The Late Late Show With James Corden to launch their Up Next programme, which aims to “identify, showcase and elevate developing artists to a global audience”.

The UK-based editorial team at Apple Music choose one artist a month to feature, with a short documentary film, a live session (which will be available as an EP through the Apple Music platform), an interview on Beats 1 by Zane Lowe, and a performance on The Late Late Show With James Corden being the main means of exposure. It will no doubt provide a huge promotional boost for a young artist.

Atlanta-based rapper 6LACK was the first artist chosen for the ‘Up Next’ programme. Below is his single, ‘Problems’.
