Do you love live music and events? Do you want to be part of a team that is highly respected in its industry and consistently out-performs some of the biggest retail brands in Australia and the world? Do you want to be part of a culture where hard work and professionalism operate in a relaxed work environment where staff enjoy coming to work?
Moshtix is Australia’s leading independent ticketing provider specialising in live music and entertainment events. We work with some of the country’s most iconic festivals and live music venues, as well as providing ticketing and marketing services to the live music and entertainment sectors nationally. Launched in 2003, our longevity is based around our industry-leading technology that caters for self-service, full service and white label offerings. This is backed by a team of highly experienced industry professionals, all focused on providing a seamless connection between our clients, ticket buyers and the artist, at a fair price. We help people discover, share and experience the live entertainment they love.
We’re currently working on redoing client portal and ecommerce website – with a focus on the mobile experience– and need a UX designer to work across both projects.
As a UX Designer you are the voice of the customer. You’re an innovative natural problem solver, and in the know about what’s happening in the digital space. In all of your interactions with stakeholders you advocate the users wants and needs. Though this is a true UX role, you will have an appreciation for good ui and interaction design and will be able to work with our designers to offer educated solutions in this space.
You’ll be able to explore complex user problems and balance them with business needs to create an intuitive, simple to use product for our clients and end users.
You will be responsible for:
- Being the voice of the user
- Information Architecture
- Research projects
- User personas
- User journey mapping
- Design workshops
- User surveys
- User testing & recruiting
- Spec docs
- Flow diagrams
- 3+ years experience in a similar UX/product design role
- Experience designing experiences specifically for the web (all devices)
- Communicating and rationalising design decisions
- Excellent writing skills
- Experience researching and testing with users in an agile environment
If you want to work on some really transformative projects in a fun, relaxed, hard-working environment we want to hear from you as soon as possible. Please send your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org. Only successful candidates will be contacted for an interview.
