We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Product Registration team within Data Operations. The position of Product Registration Administrator is a 12 month fixed term contract based position commencing ASAP and is responsible for the creation, completion and maintenance of programme and production records. The objective for the role is to accurately analyse, edit and enter the contents of film, TV cue sheet data as well digital and physical recordings, thereby facilitating on time invoicing and accurate payments to members for their musical works used.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Authorise programmes and productions submitted by data providers, performing associated de-duplication tasks, with the aid of system generated reports.
  • Manually enter Product registrations accurately analysing the contents and maintain related work details
  • Review and respond to various queries from other departments and third parties regarding Programme and Production records, outputs and processes
  • Monitor Local and Foreign cue sheet mailboxes, researching and sourcing cue sheets from CIS-Net where required to match to Programme Usage data
  • Identify any anomalies from system auto-matched data advising Manager if patterns or consistent issues arise for potential to modify matching or processing parameters.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to translate technical terminology to plain English
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to manipulate and present data
  • General knowledge of contemporary and popular music
  • General knowledge of broadcast, film & TV programmes
