SUPER CRUEL have joined the Village Sounds team for bookings, and will also be managed by Benjamin James and Stefan Emslie under Mutual Friends.
“Across the board they have individually accomplished a great deal, but together they create a whole other level,” says James and Emslie.
The duo — made up of Sydney’s Jesse Porsches and Adelaide producer Tigerilla — have moved quickly since teaming up, with their debut single ‘November’, which features Lisa Mitchell, racking up 75,000 views and 347K Spotify plays in just over a fortnight. They’ve also been included on this year’s impressive Splendour In The Grass bill.
James Roberts, Head of A&R, Parlophone/Warner Music Australia says the band stood out “from the initial demos”.
“It’s a highly creative, collaborative project with killer tracks stacked up to come”, he says.
“Since hearing the first demos nearly 12 months ago, it’s great to see the project start to take shape,” says Village Sounds’ Sam Perovich. “I’m psyched they will be joining the Village Sounds family.”
“We are looking forward to collaborating with our new found teams to dominate 2017,” adds Tigerilla.
